Tunkhannock Creek/Susquehanna River Tire Cleanup

Members of the Wyoming Valley Watershed Coalition helped with the removal of over 350 tires from the banks of Tunkhannock Creek and the Susquehanna River in Wyoming County. This project was coordinated by PADEP's Robert Pitcavage.
Streamside Cleanup with Wilkes University

Over 250 Wilkes University Freshman cleaned three area streams as part of
Freshman Orientation Program called "Back to Nature".
This program removed 4.9 tons of tires and a total of 10.02 tons of trash and debris from area streams.
